First Post of my Diesel Year!

As usual the first couple weeks start off slow and boring going through countless rules that each class shares. The only class I have gotten my hands dirty in so far was the heavy duty brakes class. This is no fault to the instructors though some people are still very new to the classes. I have no in class pictures yet as my hands were black before I thought to snap any. I do have pictures of my first project vehicle though.

 

I own a 1986 F-250. Its the first year of fuel injection was an option and of course I am stuck with it. With 30+ year technology under the hood it thinks it can idle and loves spitting every available fluid in all directions.

Originally it came with the 4-speed auto of that year but was switched to some random 5-speed. I was told it was from 91 but all I know is all synchronizers hate their life and refuse to do their job.

Currently with the help of my friend Austin she will be rebuilt, say goodbye fuel injection!
