Finally my team can finally get our head off! First we needed to make a modification to our adapter plate.

We had the rest of the class helping us so we can all be at the same level.

In chassis class we learned how to adjust ride height. At the bottom right you can see the airbag. Usually you can measure ride height by measuring from the bottom of the frame to the ground.
We had to read through the manual on ours to find the correct spec for height adjustment. You are supposed to take a measuring stick and lay it flat across both sides air bags. You then measure from the stick to the cross member below. Our stick was way to long so we measured from the top of the frame to the air bag and it was 10" So we just added 10" to the spec to compensate.
It's weird seeing how the height is adjusted at least on this 90's international. Haven't looked at other vehicles to see if ride height is adjusted differently on other trucks yet. The horizontal stick opens and closes an air valve. The vertical stick stays on the cross member and raises/lowers with the vehicle. Because of the hose clamps the horizontal stick is stuck to the vertical one and moves with it. Depending on where the rubber fitting is positioned is when the air valve closes and stops raising the vehicle.
